Security, safety & compliance
When you’re trusted with people’s health, safety can’t be an afterthought. That’s why every Reach Healthtech product is shaped by clinicians, overseen by a dedicated Clinical Safety Officer and built to the highest UK standards for clinical safety and data security, so you can deliver care with confidence.
Standards we build to
Every Reach Healthtech product is designed and continuously updated to meet the highest clinical safety and data security standards, including:
- NHS DTAC: the NHS framework for assessing digital health technologies.
- ISO 27001: the international standard for information security management.
- Cyber Essentials: the UK government-backed scheme protecting against common cyber threats.
- UK GDPR: keeping patient data private, secure and handled lawfully.
- DCB 0129 and DCB 0160: the NHS clinical risk management standards for health IT.
- HCPC-registered physiotherapists: every clinician delivering care is fully registered.
Clinical safety
Every product has its own clinical safety case and hazard log, overseen by our Clinical Safety Officer. They’re responsible for identifying and managing clinical risk, and have the authority to stop any release that doesn’t meet our standards.
Safety built into every product
- Clinician-authored exercises: every exercise programme is created by qualified clinicians.
- Motion-tracked outcome measures: objective progress data, not just self-reporting.
- Red-flag escalation: concerns raised in chat are flagged and escalated to a clinician.
- Full audit trail: every action in Omega is recorded, for complete transparency.
Clear governance, whatever your model
Governance follows whoever delivers the care:
- Licence: your clinicians deliver care using our products, and you hold clinical governance, supported by our safety documentation.
- Network: clinicians from our national physio network take on the patient’s care, virtually or in person, under their own governance.
Always improving
Compliance isn’t a box we tick once. We’re continually investing in our clinical and regulatory standards, so our products stay ahead of what the NHS, insurers and patients expect.
